Quail's autumn energy: Why egg production picks up again

Quail's autumn energy: Why egg production picks up again
When the days get shorter and temperatures drop, quails reach optimal condition. September marks the start of the best egg production period – and we explain why.

September – quails' favorite month

After a challenging summer with heat and lower production, quails return to their best selves when autumn arrives. The small birds thrive in temperatures around 15-20 degrees and respond positively to the shorter days – this is their natural season for high egg production.

From mid-September we see a noticeable increase in both quantity and quality of our quail eggs. They are golden yellow, full of nutrition, and come from birds that finally feel truly comfortable again.
