Top 10 things that are good about ducks
Ducks are some of the coziest things we have here at The Little Garden. They are not only nice to look at – they also have many good qualities that make them an important part of garden life. Here is our top 10 list of why ducks are so great:

1. They have lots of personality

Ducks are curious, social and very entertaining to watch. Each duck tends to have its own little personality.

2. They are lovely to have in the garden

They bring life, sound and movement, and make the outdoor area extra cozy.

3. They are good at finding small insects and snails

Ducks like to waddle around and snap up insects, larvae and other small things they find – including slugs. They can therefore be a natural help in the garden.

4. They are beautiful animals

Many ducks have lovely colours, fine patterns and a calm and pleasant expression.

5. They are fascinating to observe

There is always something to see – whether they are bathing, searching for food or "talking" to each other.

6. They thrive well in natural surroundings

If they have access to water and some space, they live a good and natural life.

7. They create a calm atmosphere

There is something special about watching ducks waddle around at their own pace – it gives a feeling of peace.

8. Duck eggs are something many appreciate

Duck eggs are used by many for both cooking and baking, and are known for their good taste.

9. They create joy for both children and adults

Ducks awaken curiosity and smiles in people of all ages.

10. They make smallholding life even richer

Ducks are part of the whole – animals, nature and life in the garden.

For us, the ducks are an important part of everyday life, and we greatly appreciate all the wonderful things they bring with them.
